A Toast to Another Successful Year for Cravia with The Founder’s Awards
The Cravia family came together once again to celebrate the outstanding efforts extended by the entire team that have contributed to another successful year for the company.
A group of 400 employees from Cravia’s head office and brands – Cinnabon, Seattle’s Best Coffee and Zaatar w Zeit, attended the awards ceremony at Atlantis The Palm on the 17th of July to recognise the passion, dedication and efforts that continue to drive the company forward and beyond borders.

From the Cravia head office, Borhan Dali was honoured with Support of the Year, Rani Baraka as Team Player of the Year and Blesilda Balderas as Employee of the Year.
A group photo was taken to capture the many faces of Cravia, many of whom have been with the company for years. They have been there to see the company reach significant milestones, and will be there to experience further accomplishments in the coming years.
2013 was a great year, with Cravia witnessing a 17% increase in sales – a major validation of the consistent and sustainable growth of the company. This success was achieved thanks to the relentless efforts of the team to make the brands grow, along with the addition of new venues and the revamping of existing ones. So far this year, Zaatar w Zeit has opened two new branches, one in Motor City, the other in Tecom, and renovated and relaunched the popular Sheikh Zayed Road branch with the new identity. Additionally, a new outlet for both Cinnabon and Seattle’s Best Coffee opened in Mushrif Mall and at the Dubai International Airport. The Ibn Batuta and the Souk Madinat Jumeirah branches were recently renovated too.
Beyond the UAE, Cravia is taking major expansion steps into other key markets in the region, with a major stop in Saudi Arabia where it will be opening one of the largest Zaatar w Zeit outlets in the region this August on Al Tahlia Street, Riyadh.
With each year that passes, The Founder’s Awards acts as an important reminder of the truly inspirational growth that Cravia continues to enjoy after more than a decade since its inception, and invites everyone to join hands to achieve more and grow together.
