Cravia ‘Kicks-Off’ 2016 with a ‘Yes Attitude’

Yes Attitude’ was the theme of this year’s ‘Kick-Off’ event, which saw the Cravia family get together to celebrate the achievements of the past 12 months and to look forward to an exciting 2016. Around 100 people attended the activity, which was held at the Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa, Dubai on December 7, 2015, with gathered guests including representatives from Cravia senior management, Cravia customer service team members and Cravia business partners and sponsors.
 
Louay Gandhour, CEO of Cravia, opened the event by thanking all Cravia employees for their dedication and hard work over the past 12 months. He stated that the efforts from all team members have resulted in the company continuing to grow and become leaders in the region’s food and beverage sector. He mentioned the expansion plans for the brands operated within the group and restated his commitment to bringing the very best dining experiences to customers in the region.
 
Walid Hajj, Executive Chairman of Cravia, took the stage to talk about his delight at the launch of Five Guys in Saudi Arabia, with the opening of the brand’s first outlet in Riyadh, a further two to follow in the capital and a fourth to open in the country’s Eastern Province of Khobar. He also expressed his pride with the growth of Zaatar w Zeit in the region. Walid used his speech to highlight the Harvard case study, which saw representatives from Cravia fly to Boston in March to deliver a presentation at the prestigious university. He commented that the event was a significant achievement for Cravia in 2015.
 
Mahmoud Harb, Director of Operations at Cravia, addressed the increase of sales for Zaatar w Zeit in 2015, particularly the growth in its delivery service across the UAE. He mentioned the opening of Zaatar w Zeit’s outlets in Office Park and Dubai Festival City, as well as soon-to-be-launched new menu items and mobile application. Next up was Marwan Kandeel, Multi-Brand Manager, who discussed 2016 plans for Cinnabon, Seattle’s Best Coffee, Carvel and The Steak Bar. He also drew attention to achievements in 2015 the opening of new Cinnabon outlet in Dubai Festival City, the new product launches for Cinnabon and Carvel, and the new menu for Seattle’s Best Coffee.
Cravia’s annual Kick-Off event is the perfect opportunity to show how teamwork really can generate fantastic results. It allows the company to celebrate the achievements and also to look to the future with enthusiasm.
